Judging by some of your other stories, I could have sworn you were British. Not that it matters, but still, with some tipically British exclamations, you had me on the wrong foot.
Anyway, as a first effort, this is pretty amazing stuff. the way the guy is portrayed judges of a neat psychological insight.
Very well done, Dee Driscoll.
A pity you never found the time to carry-on.

Interesting sets upon sets of plotting and reflection. Eloquently put too! (8/10)

I enjoyed it. Nice literary touches. The narrator's personality is well drawn with various peripheral details. Like an east European version of Fowles' The Collector. (9/10)

- Thank you for your review, Moggy, yes, you could say it has similarities to The Collector, although I have never read the book and only saw the film version five days ago (the story was written long before that). But originality was never rated highly in this field of work anyway, i suppose.
