Although most readers at this site probably do want to read about pain, whips and chains, I agree with libco - a story doesn’t have to be about those things to have an element of domination. I liked first person stories like this one - they have a nice ‘chatty’ and intimate feel, particularly when the author is so generous about sharing his/her thoughts as this one has been.
I think it was a big mistake not to edit the story. The style alone should have been sufficient to create that sense of it having been written by a seventeen year old girl. Errors are simply jarring, and don't do a story any favours under any circumstances.
The story itself is good, but it’s kind of suffered a little from the old “telling rather than showing”. I felt there were many instances where the characters could have said it better than the author. Maybe that's just me?
Overall, it's an enjoyable and rather titilating read.

- Thank you Alex for your criticisms. I take many of your points and I can't disagree.
The lack of dialogue was deliberate-thats how it happened and part of the impact for me was that there was little dialogue. I wrote it for me really and not as a story - I will write for readers next time and hope to improve.))

Very arousing. It is D/S story as far as I'm considered. The theme of domination and surrender are patently obvious to me. And all the better because it avoides the inane master/slave cliches. (8/10)

You warned us about the editing, and the missing BDSM, and you were right.
The story does have an interesting quality to it; the excitement of first love, the inquisitiveness of new experiences, the unfettered flow of fresh young memories.
Encourage the young lady to write again! (7/10)

- thank you chksng. Your comments are appreciated It was a very personal story. It was and still is very vivid in my memory. I wasn't too sure about submitting it but now I am glad I did :)
I have writen lots of similar type stories but I dont think they would be of interest. I am going to see if I have the imagination to write something which is more in keeping with tenor of this library.
