Short short stories are a difficult medium at best. Jan seems to have mastered the art. I would certainly like to see more work from this author. This is an absolutely excellent contribution to the Library. (10/10)

Excellent!
A really novel idea that works exceedingly well. I'm not religious, but I got a real sense of Jan's devoutness coming through. Would love to read other episodes building towards (although not necessarily including) the crucifixion. (9/10)

very good especially lik the religious themes, would lik to see more parts, lik the short stories, good length, maybe masturbating to a cross with thorns, lik to read further pts

Wow. That is - just plain impressive. The combination of the prayer and the self-torture is extremely powerful.
Your writing is very sparse and clean, very precise; I enjoy it. However, the run-on pieces that indicate fast speech, though a powerful literary conceit, makes the reading a little difficult at times. Breaking each such incidence into separate paragraphs might help.
Otherwise, excellent. Will you be creating a sequel to this? (9/10)

- Thank you very much for your kind words, sir! You're quite right about my little 'literay conceit', and i fully understand that it makes it somewhat more difficult to read. But, as an amateur writer, it really was all i could think of!

A stunning story. Reading it I could feel the pain. Ouch! The idea was exceptional, totally original. Is the crucifixion going to be in a further story, I wonder, or are we going to be treated to more of the preparation? I look forward to more work by this author. (9/10)

I did not plan to write a crucifixion story to continue this (that seems to be a much more imposing task, and hard to make original). But perhaps i will try.

Nice stuff...I think an update to this story would be very enjoyable, and I wish you well and hope writer's block never rears it's ugly head for you. (9/10)
