    | | This is one of those rare occasions where I couldn't get myself to even remotely like the story. Well written, yes, imaginative too and even well tought out, but somehow, "The Prayer" gave me the creeps.
Maybe because it's a bit too close to a reality as lived by a lot of religeous nutcases, I don't know.

    | | Not a bad story, quite inventive in places. You do need to keep in mind we poor readers haven't too much of a clue as to the background of your characters and their world. We could use a bit more info on both as you continue on with the story. Ask and you shall receive, the story is quite wonderful, inventive, descriptive with a bit of a romantic twist.
I was remiss not returning to it sooner but I hope to make amends. Please allow me to revise my rating

    | | A pretty good read, but just not my taste. I was facinated by the idea of the culture and would have like to have seen that explored more. Perhaps a flashback episode showing her training??? (8/10)

    | | Very interesting. Original concept. Good storytelling - the reader gets to feel the action. Good ambience too. But - Prayer is one of a kind. A character one remembers even when the story itself has long faded away! I just loved her. Great build up - now fulfill the promise.

    | | I enjoyed the plot of the story even though I do not quite understand 'your' position in the story. Are you looking for a slave, or are you a Tourist? (8/10)
