Well, it's an OK story, I guess. There is no anticipation, no real suspense, no love, no mystery, nothing happening to be upset about. It's like an economy car: it will get you from point A to B but there's no real fun to it.
Good luck with your next tale, or with further chapters of this one; maybe you could try a different style of story. (5/10)
