This is a grim tale, and one some may find it disturbing. I certainly did; and I wrote it! But the inexorable logic of events as I saw them led me to narrate it in the way it turned out, and I can only aplogise if I\'ve gone OTT. Once upon a time there was a man who married unfortunatly. His flighty young wife transgressed in the usual manner, and he took a terrible vengeance, unknown until a remote relation of his discovered an old ledger |

I make it a rule never to read anyone else's reviews before I write mine, and this is no exception. This struck me as a haunting, sad tale, obviously, but it was also well narrated and very interesting to read. Because I enjoyed the tale doesn't mean I'd want something horrible like that to happen for real, at least not to anyone I know. It's horror, fantasy, freedom of expression at its best, in my humble opinion; and who's to say there aren't evil people out there who would do such a thing if they could? (8/10)

A review for this story is, as a previous reviewer stated, not an easy task. It was, so far as I can tell, quite original and rather strange. My complaints are few, but I will note that there were some major technical deficiencies - run on sentences and out of place commas littered this tale. These did halt the flow of the story somewhat. On another front, the language utilized was well put and gave the story a life it might not have posessed otherwise. I would be remiss if I failed to mention how disturbingly bizarre a read this tale was - it was that and more. As a final note: While this tale needs to be tightened up, I can imagine this tale landing in one of those old magazines that used to feature strange horror stories. Judging by this story and the one other story I have read by this author, I can see him/her? finding quite the cult following. (8/10)

This is a difficult to review! The only way to do it was to really draw a line between "possible" reality with human feelings and a pure fiction story. Trying to quote it as the last option, I have to admit that the story absorbs you from begin to end, even when you have difficulties with the actual contents. It is the reason I quoted the story rather high. (8/10)
