While I agree with Chksng19's review, This is a story that I would like to read more of. (7/10)

A) treat your readers nicely. Use story codes so they know what to expect. There are explanations for all of them if you're not sure.
B) Try not to. Use sentence fragments in. The first paragraph (or anywhere else.) They make it more difficult for the reader to follow the story, and with over 5000 here to choose from, that's a mistake.
C) Find a good proof-reader who will help find spell-check errors resulting in wrong words. Why? See B.
There may be some opportunity to fix things; there is certainly hope for the story if you wish to fix it. Find an editor, ask for their assistance, and take what they say to heart. You will grow as a writer and have a larger audience. (5/10)
