The writing skills of this author weren't so bad as my rating would suggest. What garnered this law rating was the dull manner in which it was presented and the sophomoric style in which it was told. I found myself quite bored with the story and had difficulty finishing. There were also quite a few technical deficiencies, most notably a failure to put quotations around thoughts, instead putting thoughts in italics. There was also a tendency to emphasize words using all upper case letters - something that should always be avoided when writing a story. In short, I was fairly disinterested early on and finished it by skimming over much of what was presented.
Darq - if you want to improve as a writer I suggest the Writer's Block. This is a place for new writers to learn, and for the more experienced writer to sharpen their skills. We bite, but only because we care.

liked the general premise of the story, not to much into goth myself, but the story itself was ok (6/10)
