There is promise for this story. Unfortunately, there were quite a few errors that could have been easily corrected. Furthermore, the style was terribly simplistic - as if the author had a notion of what he wanted to present without having the understanding of how to present it. Finally, this little tale felt quite rushed. As a consequence, I could not get all the way through it - I wanted out before I could get to the end. A story should not do that to a reader. (5/10)
