J Lewis' first, and an entrance through the main gate it is. In his now well recognizable style of long sentences made-up of short burst of information to give lots of information in one go, Lewis tells once more a rather painful story of a woman's misfortunes.
Or a misfortunate story of a woman's pains.
As a first, this can count. No hesitant feeling around or searching for the right style, J Lewis instead drives up your lawn with a bulldozer.
he may not be the greatest writer alive, but he knows how to bring and tell a story and how to keep the reader captivated. Even when the story has been done before, thanks to J Lewis' personal style, this is an above average, highly enjoyable read.

Wow can almost feel myself in the story with that crop striking the skin. You struck right to the heart of a real slave. Please continue, can't wait for more. Thanks cw (10/10)
