    | | It is difficult for me to understand how some horrible stories on this site get 5+ reviews - while intelligent stories like this one doesn't get a single review. Anyways: My biggest complaint was that until chapter 4 I couldn't understand what this woman saw in Drew. But I think this is a realistic story that reflects in one way or another thousands of such r.t. relationships.
The reason I don't give this a 10 is that I didn't sense that Nicola loved or respected Drew. I'm not even sure she liked him! An impulsive and confident woman like Nicola would have grown bored with him way before it ever evolved to the point of marriage. This is a huge sticking point for me.
Never the less - perhaps some women like men with zero personality - in the same way that some women stay with their same favorite pj's for decades. They offer a non threatening and comfortable existence. But if this was the authors thinking - than it should have been reflected in the story. (9/10)
