Great story. Very well written, good flow to the events and a nice balance of action and character thoughts and feelings. This fella is a lucky guy, I'm sure a lot of men wish they were in his place!
One or two very minor formatting errors - odd line breaks, missing spaces and such. I only really mention this because it's about the only thing to critique! (10/10)
